TopicParametric equations

  1. A curve \(C\) has parametric equations
$$x = 2 t + 5 , \quad y = 3 + \frac { 4 } { t } , \quad t \neq 0$$
  1. Find the value of \(\frac { \mathrm { d } y } { \mathrm {~d} x }\) at the point on \(C\) with coordinates \(( 9,5 )\).
  2. Find a cartesian equation of the curve in the form $$y = \frac { a x + b } { c x + d }$$ where \(a\), \(b\), \(c\) and \(d\) are integers.
