Prove the identity \(\tan ^ { 2 } \theta - \sin ^ { 2 } \theta \equiv \tan ^ { 2 } \theta \sin ^ { 2 } \theta\).
Use this result to explain why \(\tan \theta > \sin \theta\) for \(0 ^ { \circ } < \theta < 90 ^ { \circ }\).
