- \(y = \frac { k } { x }\), where \(k\) is a negative constant
- Hence explain why the equation \(x | x - 1 | = k\) has exactly one real root for any negative value of \(k\).
- Determine the real root of the equation \(x | x - 1 | = - 6\).
